More Protection with NXT-ID's Wocket™ Smart Wallet; Securely Store All Your Passwords in Your Own Personal Vault

SHELTON, Conn., June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NXT-ID, Inc. (OTCQB:NXTD), a biometric authentication company focused on the growing mobile commerce market, revealed today its Wocket™ Smart Wallet will include a password storage feature, further demonstrating the versatility of Wocket™ to store and protect a wide range of private information. With this password list feature, Wocket™ owners can store and securely access all their login credentials such as usernames and passwords on a Wocket™ in addition to payment, loyalty, identity and other cards typically held within a wallet. Users will be soon be able to utilize Wocket™ for secure, biometrically locked, password storage in lieu of similar online solutions where data is at risk.

"Passwords continue to be a difficult issue for consumers. 2013 was clearly the "Year of Personal Data Breach", with 110 million credit and debit card account numbers lost to hackers by Target alone," says David Tunnell, CTO of NXT-ID. "Heartbleed and other security vulnerabilities demonstrate the need for a new method for consumer's to protect their private data. Users all over the world utilize online password storage services to store thousands of passwords behind one master password. If a hacker were to gain access to that one master password, they would gain access to all the user's passwords. That is the root of the problem with online storage of private data."

Wocket™ enables users to store and encrypt their passwords locally, and securely inside their own smart wallet. Wocket™ owners will also be able to store other sensitive information such as Social Security Numbers and insurance cards on Wocket™ instead of online servers and applications where their identity is potentially vulnerable.

Wocket™ is a smart wallet in the same vein as the smart phone and smart watch. NXT-ID is introducing its innovative, patent-pending Wocket™ as the next natural step in the evolution of smart devices. Wocket™ is a next generation smart wallet designed to protect your identity and replace all the cards in your wallet, with no smart phone required. The Wocket works anywhere credit cards are accepted and only works with your biometric stamp of approval.

Credit, debit, ATM, loyalty, gift, ID, membership, insurance, ticket, emergency, medical, business, contacts, coupon, and virtually any card can be protected on Wocket™. More than 10,000 cards, records, coupons, etc. and 100 voice commands can also be stored on Wocket™.

report to their offering.

Globally, biofuels are gaining importance due to increasing focus on sustainability. Bioethanol is the major biofuel, followed by biodiesel and biogas. The natural feedstocks for biofuels are grains such as rapeseed, rice, and wheat or crops such as sugarcane and corn. The demand for crop protection chemicals is also derived from the demand for biofuels. For instance, ethanol requires corn as a feedstock for its production; therefore, an increase in the demand for ethanol will lead to an increase in the production of corn, which in turn would result in an increase in the use of crop protection chemicals.

According to the report, one of the major growth factors is the rising food demand due to the increase in world population. In addition, due to rapid urbanization, the ratio of the available arable land area to the world population is decreasing year by year. To meet this global food demand, there is an increased use of fertilizers and pesticides to enhance yield quality and efficiency.

Further, the report states that one of the major challenges in the market is increasing pesticide resistance.

Newly Launched Secure Identity & Biometrics Association (SIBA) Provides Innovative Solutions to Often Complex Security and Identity Protection Issues

Janice Kephart, SIBA CEO and founder. (PRNewsFoto/Secure Identity & Biometrics Association (SIBA))jwplayer.key="2kY/GKwZ2uQZmDlQ9VYArfZt2b4+KhHX3+DM4zisgtE=";WASHINGTON, Feb. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A new association designed to bring the "A" game to identity-thought leadership, the Secure Identity & Biometrics Association (SIBA), debuts today. SIBA was created for vendors, research institutions, nonprofits and individuals. The organization's purpose is to provide proactive education, policy refinement and solutions to the complexities of balancing identity security and protection with national security, public safety, economic strength, privacy and innovation. These technologies include both biological and behavioral biometrics such as fingerprints, facial and iris recognition, voice identification as well as secure credentials.

Today these technologies make the world more physically and virtually safe, quick, and economically efficient. Benefits include securing borders, enabling individuals without documentation to be brought out of anonymity, catching dangerous criminals and terrorists, reconciling refugees and reuniting families, reducing identity theft, and enabling medical patients increased privacy while reducing fraud in healthcare. For consumers, biometrics provide protection beyond the use of passwords, most tangibly in banking and mobile solutions.

Yet SIBA believes that even greater benefits from these innovations can be realized if we understand better what these technologies are, and are not, and how they truly affect us as individuals, a nation, and as a global community. "With a struggling economy, the opportunity for innovation and economic growth is explosive. The global biometrics market was $7 billion in 2012. By 2020, it is slated to grow to $20 billion. With policies in place that embrace responsible future applications, these technologies can evolve into a core stabilizer for the economy's recovery and future growth," said SIBA founder and CEO, Janice Kephart.

Kephart has garnered success in some of the most difficult environments in Washington, D.C. bringing to SIBA unprecedented leadership and know-how. Ms. Kephart has:
